Passionate about all things related to language and communication I have worked as an ESL specialist for many years both in the UK and abroad.

I'm an ESL specialist, linguist and teacher. Having worked in China for many years including for EF (Education First) in Beijing I have a strong knowledge of Chinese language and culture.

I am also a former IELTS examiner and Mandarin teacher.

I have worked as a pre-sessional teacher teaching English for Academic Purposes at the University of Warwick's Department for Applied Linguistics.

I speak Mandarin, French and (some) Spanish, and hold the Dip TESOL (a Master's level qualification in teaching English to speakers of other languages).

Bath Welcome Refugees and other voluntary organisations in the Bath and Wiltshire area to help train both Ukrainian adults and teachers and help them adjust to life in the

UK.

Sanqingshang Geopark, China

I have worked on translation projects for Sanqingshang and Tianzhushan geopark in China as part of their application for UNESCO status.
